A rarity for me, in that it's a black and white shot. Normally I avoid them as I'm never sure which shots are better left in full colour. With this shot there was such little colour it seemed pointless to leave it in. The fact it's black and white helps draw attention to the patterns and lines rather than the distractions, such as what would have been a red life-buoy holder.
