Yet another with the Lensbaby. It takes a while to get used to finding a suitable subject for this "sweet spot" of focus. This fariground wheel is a good example of how it can draw your attention to one particular point.

hey jake... I really like your photos, they make me look at things a second time and engage my brain (usually against it's wishes!). I just thought I'd say that the Lensbaby looks like fun but it is a simple affair to get this effect out of photoshop, with the added bonus of not having to guess at the sweet spot.

Thanks Garth. Glad you like them. You hit the nail on the head when you say the lensbaby is fun. That's why I like it. There's nothing fun about getting home and adding loads of "special effects" in Photoshop. Feels much better to have made it yourself...
