Watching the sun set over Marsden Bay, with Tynemouth in the very distance.
Just lately I've been doing way too many silhouettes. Here I am trying to make a feature of the foreground as well. Using a filter helps to darken the sky a little and include some detail from the cliffs. The flowers you can see are also
featured here.

It's worth a visit Cheryl. Not just here, but the whole of the North East has plenty of attractions. Don't dismiss it as lots of run-down Geordie housing estates.
Further up the coast a bit is Northumberland. I can't wait to visit there...
