Beach Wall
June 01, 2004
Somebody has decided to add some colour to this dull lane in Scarborough. The mural depicts a time gone by for this once-popular seaside resort. This year was the first time I'd been back in years. I can't remember it that well from my childhood but I'm fairly sure it was nothing like the dump it is now. The price of cheap package holidays abroad!

Very cool find. I really like the contrast between the old brick wall and the brightly painted mural.
My only 'picky' comment would be to see if you get a composition where the right side ends at the colored wall. IMHO
But overall I think this is a great find, I am jealous. 8-)
I see what you mean Tom. You're probably right. However, in my defence, I didn't have a whole lot of time to compose the shot as I wasn't alone and it was a narrow street ;-)
