Is the escalator really this sterile in color or did you touch it up? Very cool effect and great capture.

This pictures has been desaturated in Photoshop i.e. made black and white. It's not obvious in this shot though is it.

It might as well be devoid of colour on the Metro!

I gather they have a low view of sliding down the middle. That would be a painful ride in this instance. Cool pic. Nice geometry.
