I love taking photos of fairground rides. I must have spent about half an hour walking round this particular ride, at the end of Brighton Pier.
I had always thought it best to shoot at night, as I did with
this shot of a similar ride in South Shields. However, with a polarising filter (which increases exposure by two stops) and a small aperture, I managed to use an exposure of 1/10s to capture the sense of speed.
The only problem with taking lots of shots of the same thing is deciding on your favourite. In this case I have about ten favourites. Of which, there are more to come...
