Royal Gala July 12, 2004

What is it with the weather in the UK at the moment? Really makes me wonder what we've done to the world! It's the 12^th of July and I don't think I've seen the sun yet this month. It's grey, wet and miserable. Not the type of weather to be out with the camera. Instead I have been messing about in my digital dark-room with some "still lifes". For this I was inspired by this Shutterbug shot and a tutorial in this month's Photography Monthly magazine. More to come.

I'll post another photo later today or tomorrow and explaing the basics of what the tutorial said. There's *one* key tip that makes all the difference.
